Well, unfortunately, the following video is not edited the way I hoped it would be. But this is the best I could do with no teacher or lab assistant available to help me with the editing process.
Very well done Andrea and Nick! I hear what you mean about the audio - it is usually the most neglected part of a video project. You might already know this, but Hollywood people expect to recreate audio all the time - It's called "foley." I've done it myself in one production - the actor re-read his lines in the studio as he watched the video footage. Amazingly, no one noticed anything different! One suggestion: Music in the beginning and end of a piece help to create a satisfying feeling of a "beginning" and an "end." I know you probably wanted to add some music anyway, but you ran out of time. Great job!
Wow, I felt that a lot of hard work was put into this video. The editing is done well and the filming and audio are clear. You have gotten your message across and I would be excited to enter your classroom.
Way to go Andrea! I can tell that you put tons of work into this. It was fun to hear about you more and get to know you better. HEY you have traveled a ton! I love it, I love traveling and I have always wanted to go to Switzerland. How fun. Traveling helped me want to be a history teacher too, what a coincidence. Well, nice job. You did a great job and the voice over that you did and the photos you put into your video really add a lot to the overall feel of the video. Also you did a great job of explaining what you will be doing with your students in your class. Awesome!
You did a great job on this video. I want to be in your class, it sounds like you would really make it enjoyable. I thought you did a great job even if you had no help!
Well done Andrea. I found your video very interesting, fun, and informative. I am sure that your students will love and enjoy having a talented teacher like you. Good luck in the future.
Very well done. The filming was clear and colorful. Good technique of panning and zooming in on still photos. Nice transitions. I could tell you put a lot of time into this video!
Wow awesome job on the video. i can tell you put a ton of time and effort into it!! I wish i could travel around the world. And your class sounds like it is going to be so much fun!!
I'm serious, silly, and sassy, with a passion for fitness and food. I'm also an artist with an affinity for all things fantasy. I love a good book or video game, but my happy place is on the beach or in the woods, hiking or swimming with family and friends. I have an adorable husband and two beautiful rowdy boys.

ReplyDeletehaha, just joking.
I liked how you said that history is a collection of stories.
i wish that my history teachers had let us watch more movies.
